Thank you so much JC fo making this!
ACT ONE
(setting: A group of kids in the woods (by a pond), searching for food, shelter, etc.)
(Charecters: Mel, a very fiesty tomboy who is the brains of the group (Age ten). Kristina, a girl addicted to fairy tales, romance, and happy endings (age twelve). Charlie, a smarty-pants school-wise, but not so much in other areas (age fourteen) Rosalind, a enterainer who envies Mel (age eight).
Mel: (in the lead of her siblings) C'mon. We can't take all day. Charlie, stop reciting the times table. You're so nerdy! Kristina, need a hand climbing up that rock? No? okey dokey then.
Charlie: Math isn't half as bad as you think it is.
(Kristina, who's in back, asks the group can take a break)
Mel: Ugh. Kristina, yes, we'll stop soon.
Rosalind: Yeah, we will stop soon.
Mel: You're such a pest, Rosie!
Rosalind: I hate that nickname!
Mel: *tounge out* Hi ROSIE!
Rosalind: *SIGHING* (she silently calls Mel by her real name, Melanie, but Mel doesn't seem to hear)
(The group is silent for a few minutes, until Mel slows down)
Mel: STOP!
Kristina: You're a pest, Mel, you know. You are not the leader or anything.
Charlie: Well, yes. Mel is unfair to us because she thinks she is the leader of all of us, though in reality, she's NOT!
Mel: Hey, then Charlie, you try leading us to our parents. I bet you'll kill us right away. And Kristina, if you were to lead you would just be talking about how dreamy some prettyboy in some book. And Rosalind would be too young and immature. Therefore (I seriously have to stop talking like Charlie), I lead you.
Rosalind: I am not young and immature, don't you agree guys? I'm a nice person to tell stories by the fire, too.
Kristina and Charlie: YES!
Kristina: And I'm not all that romantic. I do real stuff too.
Mel: Uh....she's defaintly not the leader type. But I am!
Kristina: A real leader isn't so selfish!
Rosalind: Yes, now let's make camp for the night....without MELANIE.
(i'll add more later)
